Disclosure Policy

This policy is valid from November 1st 2019

When it comes to running our website, we want to be entirely upfront about how we operate, how we make money, and how we keep the site a free resource for our millions of visitors.

We don’t accept payment to provide positive reviews, and providers will never have a say in how we choose the best gigs. We aim to put you, the reader, first and foremost at all times.

So, how do we make money? We receive fees from some of the sites we refer subscribers to. These fees are also known as affiliate commissions. When you click on a link or a button that takes you to a provider’s website such as a survey site, we may receive compensation for having referred a new sign-up.

Referral fees are only negotiated after we’ve fully conducted our review, meaning that money plays no factor in the process. Referral fees do not impact our review ratings and recommendations.

The compensation we receive may, however, influence how, where, and in what order products appear in our paid search comparison pages, which are separate from our editorial content. These contain ad listings, and can only be accessed via search engine advertisements.

You may have also noticed that we haven’t reviewed every single paid gig on the market. We intend to cover as many as possible, and we’re getting there, but unfortunately, we can’t promise to have total coverage.

Why are we telling you all of this? We aim to be the most knowledgeable, reliable, and trustworthy paid gig resource on the web, and that trust begins right here on this page.

The views, opinions or ratings expressed on HuginX are purely the reviewers’ own. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the site, provider or party in question. Read our terms of use for more details.

If you have any questions about this Disclosure Policy, please use our contact page.
