Bizpinion Review

Bizpinion enters the arena of online surveys with a promise of lucrative gigs for the savvy consumer. Yet, a closer look by a HuginX market research veteran reveals a mixed bag. While the interface is user-friendly, the payout process raises questions. Transparency is key in this industry, and Bizpinion’s silence on qualification criteria for surveys is a point of concern for potential gig workers.

What is Bizopinion?

Headquartered in Georgia, USA, Bizpinion is in the business of Data Collection & Internal Portals, Media & Internet, and Advertising & Marketing. Bizpinion is a wholly owned subsidiary of EMpanel Online that offers researchers a variety of market research products and services. EMpanel Online was founded in 2007 as a decentralized company, offering a full line of respondents encompassing most online audiences. These include B2B and B2C targets and healthcare communities; they have helped complete over 10,000 online research projects. Some of their services include research panels, surveys, and more.

Andrew: Andrew is one of our reviewers who’s been with HuginX the longest. With a background in membership support at one of the largest survey companies, Andrew has a lot of inside knowledge of the Market Research industry and has helped us refine our reviewing criteria. When Andrew is not working with reviews, he likes to go hiking with his dog Charlie.

Is Bizpinion a legit survey site?

Debating the legitimacy of Bizpinion requires a nuanced approach. It’s crucial to acknowledge that Bizpinion does not engage in scamming practices; users are not required to provide sensitive financial information such as credit card numbers. This fact alone provides a strong argument in favour of Bizpinion’s legitimacy.

However, while the site itself is legitimate, it’s imperative to remain vigilant about the negative aspects that have been highlighted in our review. Users should exercise critical thinking, especially when being redirected to third-party platforms through Bizpinion’s portal. Despite its legitimacy, a cautious approach is advised when interacting with any online service.

Survey Sites explained in 10 steps

Looking to join a Survey Site? Here are the key steps in the process applicable to most sites:

1. Client requests survey participants

A client requests survey participants for a market research project.

2. A target-group is selected

Based on the profiling information you have provided, a sub-set of panelists will be eligible and selected to participate.

3. Participants are invited

Panelists with qualifying profiles will be invited to participate, usually through email invitation or push notification on mobile.

4. Screening of participants

Upon clicking the invitation link, you'll go through a set of screening questions before you are fully qualified to participate.

5. Participants take the survey

As a participant you'll answer a number of questions. The survey could be about anything from consumer brands and entertainment to healthcare and business topics.

6. Your answers are checked

After you have answered all the questions diligently, you'll get a confirmation if your submission has been approved. You'll sometimes need to wait for a researcher to have gone through your submission before you get a confirmation.

7. Your reward is allocated

After the survey, you'll also get a confirmation on the incentive you have earned. The rewards vary from site to site, but is often based on virtual points or simply a cash amount for each survey.

8. Meeting the redemption threshold

Most survey sites don't allow you to withdraw your reward straight away, but will require you to earn a minimum amount before withdrawing your hard earned reward.

9. Filling out your payment information

If you opt to receive your reward through PayPal or bank transfer, remember that your name and address must also match your profile on the survey site.

10. Redeeming your reward

Once you meet the redemption threshold you can withdraw your reward, which is usually in the form of PayPal credits, bank-transfer, Amazon-vouchers, or other types of gift-cards.

What can prevent me from cashing out?

The most common reason for not being able to cash out is a lack of credit, and most survey sites have checks in place to ensure that respondents are attentive and honest when taking surveys. If the answers fail these checks, the survey submissions are rejected. Only one account is permitted per person and attempting to earn more money by opening multiple accounts is considered fraud, which means you will be banned and lose any money accumulated in your account.

Pros and Cons

In the bustling world of online gigs, Bizpinion emerges as a platform offering a plethora of earning opportunities through market research. As a legit company, it simplifies the entry barrier with an easy sign-up process, inviting users to share their opinions for rewards. However, it’s not all rosy; the compensation often feels underwhelming compared to the time invested.

Users frequently report technical hiccups that disrupt the survey-taking experience, alongside a predominance of third-party survey offers that can feel disjointed from the Bizpinion brand promise. The payment process also tests one’s patience, being notably sluggish, and the stringent qualification criteria for surveys add to the frustration.

Weighing both sides of the coin, it’s apparent that Bizpinion has its merits but is overshadowed by its drawbacks. The quest for better gigs continues.

Disclosure – How we make money

We built HuginX around our core principles of openness, honesty and transparency. Your trust is of the utmost importance to us, which is why we’ll always be straight-up about how we review sites.

When it comes to running our website, we want to be entirely upfront about how we operate, how we make money, and how we keep the site a free resource for our millions of visitors. We don’t accept payment to provide positive reviews, and providers will never have a say in how we choose the best sites. Our aim is to put you, the reader, first and foremost at all times.

A list of practices we never engage in:

  1. We will never accept money to review a product
  2. We will never accept money to change a product review
  3. We will never accept money to turn a blind eye to an issue or flaw
  4. We will never accept money to bias our research or investigations

So, how do we make money? We receive fees from some of the sites we refer subscribers to. These fees are also known as affiliate commissions. When you click on a link or a button that takes you to a provider’s website such as a survey site, we may receive compensation for having referred a new sign-up.

Referral fees are only negotiated after we’ve fully conducted our review, meaning that money plays no factor in the process. Referral fees do not impact our review ratings and recommendations. The compensation we receive may, however, influence how, where, and in what order products appear in our paid search comparison pages, which are separate from our editorial content. These contain ad listings, and can only be accessed via search engine advertisements.
